ABOUT
The inaugural ‘Freo Port Open’ will be held at the Fremantle Leisure Centre on Saturday 28 January 2023. A Swimming WA sanctioned event, FPSC look forward to welcoming over 250 local, regional and interstate swimmers to our event.
The ‘Freo Port Open’ is targeted towards both Junior and State Age swimmers looking to make qualifying times or just get some competition experience. The outdoor pool and open grassed area make for a relaxing environment where you can enjoy coffee, a bacon ‘n egg burger or a cake, which will all be available poolside on the day. The FPSC look forward to making the ‘Freo Port Open’ a permanent fixture on the Swimming WA Long Course Calendar.

RESULTS AND CLUB RECORDS
27 clubs and 228 swimmers competed in 867 races at the Freo Port Open over the weekend. Over 50% of our 44 FPSC swimmers achieved personal bests, with many swimmers taking some serious seconds off previous times. Well done also to all our new and juniors swimmers who swam competitively for the first time outside of a club environment. It was great to see everyone enjoy their swims.
Special mention to Tatum who broke the 10 year Girls 200m Breast stroke record by swimming 3.33.36, previously held by Stella Honey (December 2009 3.34.33). Well done Tatum.
